Team meets Paris

Family and Friends,

We have landed safely and have already experienced the culture, the food, and some of the opportunities presented to us. The weather has been cold, but nice. The food has been different, but good. Today we got to prayer walk one of the markets and saw firsthand the spiritual warfare. We also went to one of the West African Foyer and ate with the people. God had opened tremendous opportunities establish relationships and possibly find the "man of peace," in order to share Christ with his people. Craig was able to give out several tapes of the Jesus film in the native tongue of the Soninke. It was amazing to watch the eagerness of the people to engage in conversations. In addition to our trip to the Foyer, we were able to visit the W.A. mosque. We watched and prayed as many overflowed into the streets to bow down to spiritual darkness. What an eye opener to see this firsthand. Craig has been a wonderful encouragement to the team. He truly is walking and talking Christ wherever we go. We also have been truly blessed to team up with the other missionaries here...Tim and his wife Ashley, Greg and his wife Angela. Praise God for them and the work they are doing here. Tommorrow, we are going back into the Foyer with direct intent to engage the Soninke and distribute the Jesus film. Please pray for us as we will engage in spiritual warfare there also. Some names to remember to pray for (not sure about the spelling of names) Akd bar, Mama doo, Ish ba, Ish sha wa. These were some of the men who we spoke with and shared Christ. Well, more to follow...continue to pray, pray, pray, and pray some more!
